About the Event
This training is for mediators to gain a better understanding of intimate partner violence and whether and how mediation centers should handle these types of cases when mediation is requested. Since we can not hold this training in person, we are offering videorecordings of the 3 modules in this training for you to view at your own convenience. The modules are:
1. Dynamics of Abuse/Victimology
2. Dynamics of Abusers
3. Mediation and Intimate Partner Violence
The entire training is about 4 1/2 hours.
There is no charge for this training but registration is required. We also ask you to consider making a donation to the Community Mediation Center of Calvert to help us make our matching fund requirement during this difficult time. Donations can be made at calvert-mediation.org
