MISSION AND HISTORY

Established in 2006, our mission is to provide conflict management services and education to empower people to create and develop their own solutions.

We have a long and successful history of working with families, the courts, law enforcement and businesses to help bring about meaningful and peaceful conflict resolution. We offer our services in a range of locations and settings conveniently located throughout the county.

Our exposure and services have greatly expanded over the years to include:  District Court Peace Orders, foster care Child in Need of Assistance (CINA) mediations, family separation, parenting plan and property distribution mediations and reentry mediations for those about to leave the county detention center and rejoin the community.  We also facilitate difficult community conversations related to conflict resolution.

We now have more than 20 active volunteer mediators and trainers supporting more than 150 mediations and numerous workshops and facilitations each year. Our commitment to building a stronger and more peaceful community remains strong. We are proud to be recognized as a valuable resource across the demographic spectrum and are one of the  most reputable, small 501(c)3, nonprofit organizations in the County.
